Choose Your Own Documentary tells the true story of Nathan Penlington’s quest to reunite a diary found in a book with its owner.

Inspired by the 80s Choose Your Own Adventure phenomenon, which sold 450m copies, a documentary team has followed Nathan’s own real life adventure, spanning four continents over eighteen months.

Nathan presents this footage in his show, inviting members of the audience to vote by remote control on what happens at each stage of his quest, out of over 1,500 possible versions.

Part stand-up, part documentary, every performance is different. At each twist and turn it’s the audience who dictate which paths the show takes.

Whether Nathan meets with success, failure, or the unexpected depends on the choices audience members make. Where will the story lead? How will the story end? The audience decides.
