The centre which monitors and works to secure the future of rare and native breeds of farm livestock has animals including cows, pigs, sheep and birds of prey as well as small animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits.

Meet the animal sessions are still being held, but with family groups only, including pig racing which is at 11am and 3.15pm.

All visitors must pre-book a time slot online at least 24 hours in advance of their visit. They will then receive an e-ticket to present and be scanned at a new outdoor driveway admissions point.

Annual memberships will automatically have the period of closure added to their end date eg: an additional four months.

The centre's gift shop will remain closed but £10 surprise toy bags will be available to buy.

The farm is open from 10am until the earlier time of 4.30pm everyday, to allow for extra cleaning.
