It was one of the big cinema releases of last winter, and now it's set to give us all that warm feeling inside again.

Disney's Frozen 2 was the much-anticipated family film which lived up to the hype after following the original worldwide blockbuster of 2013.

Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel), Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Sven the reindeer are reunited for Frozen 2 Picture: Disney

Now the sequel is set to be streamed on Disney's new streaming service, Disney+ from Friday, July 3.

When the service launched at the start of lockdown at the end of March, the movie was one of the shows trailed to join the line-up of content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.

The film reunites Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven three years after Elsa (Idina Menzel) ascended the throne of Arendelle.

Disney+ is available to enjoy on your television or watch on laptops, tablets and phones. It can also be streamed on up to four screens at once, say Disney, which is likely to be hugely welcomed by households with all family members suddenly now forced to be at home together.

Disney+ is available for an annual subscription of £59.99 or £5.99 a month.

The service is also running a six-part documentary on the making of the film, Into The Unknown: Making Frozen II.

The series follows filmmakers, artists, cast and songwriters in the year leading up to the sequel's world premiere, capturing the blood, sweat and tears that were channelled into every meticulously animated frame and witnesses the race against time to complete the picture.

Frozen 2 features the song Some Things Never Change Picture: Disney

Songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez share their nervousness and excitement about composing a toe-tapping song to rival Let It Go while actors Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff, Sterling K Brown and Evan Rachel Wood bring characters vibrantly to life with their spirited vocal performances.
