Ghost The Musical

The touring production of hit West End musical Ghost will not visit Kent next year.

A musical stage adaptation of the romantic 1990 Oscar-winning movie starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg, it tells the story of Sam, a ghost trying to communicate with girlfriend Molly through a psychic in the hope of saving her from his murderer.

It was due to be staged at Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre from June 17 to 28 next year, but producers have announced that they will no longer be touring the show beyond March next year.

A Marlowe spokesman said: "We are very sorry for any disappointment that this may cause our patrons and we will be contacting everyone shortly who had booked tickets to arrange a refund.

"We will also be announcing another production to replace Ghost in the next few weeks."
