It is the 13th year of the show which is taking place this weekend at the Kent County Showground at Detling, near Maidstone.

Visitors can enjoy watching battle re-enactments and living history displays from the ancient world of the Greeks to the present day.

This year will see an extensive Vietnam War display with daily re-enactments featuring artillery fire and pyrotechnics.

Elsewhere, the Spitfire will be making a welcome return to take part in a massive Second World War battle, while the First World War Experience will have new trench system and daily combat zone.

Re-enactors perform at Military Odyssey.

And every day visitors can watch colourful groups of English Civil War re-enactors and American Civil War groups fighting it out with their cannons.
