Oscar winners, blockbusters, musicals and cult classics will get an airing at this summer's Luna Cinema screenings across Kent.

Dates for the popular outdoor showings across the county have been released as we enter spring.

The Kent dates are among the Luna Cinema's largest season of cinema under the stars to date.

Bohemian Rhapsody, starring Rami Malek, will be screened in Kent

Films on offer include the iconic performance from Lady Gaga in A Star Is Born, and the multi-award winning Bohemian Rhapsody, featuring an Oscar-winning performance from Rami Malek.

Musical lovers will be sure to be belting out the hits from Mamma Mia! and The Greatest Showman, while the ever-popular Harry Potter films are also revisited.

George Wood, founder of The Luna Cinema, said: “We are hugely excited to be announcing our 2019 season - our biggest year of open-air cinema yet.

"Following last year’s phenomenal outdoor success with The Greatest Showman, we were hoping for a good crop of musical films and in A Star Is Born, Bohemian Rhapsody and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, we got exactly that."

Bohemian Rhapsody will be screened at Tonbridge Castle

Audiences can bring along picnics to screenings, or buy food on site with bar sponsors, Estrella Damm.

Premium tickets are available at all screenings, which include a branded director’s chair in a prime position, fast track access and a complimentary drink at the Luna Bar.

The Kent screenings start on Wednesday, July 10, with The Greatest Showman at Swanley Park at 9.15pm and Mamma Mia 2 follows on Thursday, July 11at 9.15pm.
