Maidstone: Ramblin' Man Fair announces Fish from Marillion will be among headliners

Fish is the latest music star set to headline next summer's Ramblin' Man Fair.

The rock music festival, which will be held on Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1, will be held at Mote Park in Maidstone for the fourth year.

As front man with Marillion, Fish masterminded the unique lyrics of the band's first four studio albums, including Kayleigh.

Having gone solo in 1988, he has established himself as a leading progressive rock artist, and comes to the festival with a full set of classics, including Clutching at Straws, which was his last album with Marillion.

He will headlining the Prog in the Park stage.

Mostly Autumn

Also announced for the line-up are Grammy Award winning Von Hertzen Brothers, whose latest album War Is Over, was released earlier this year and Mostly Autumn, whose most recent album Sight of the Day, was also released earlier this year.

Already announced is Steve Earle and the Dukes, Halestorm and Blackberry Smoke.
