Westlife singer Shane Filan, who recently announced his latest album, Love Always, will bring his new tour to Kent this week.

Irish singer Shane will come to Margate Winter Gardens on Thursday, October 12, for his tour, promoting his new album, a collection of some of his favourite classic love songs.

Shane said: "Love Always is an album I've wanted to make for a long time. For me there’s nothing quite like singing an amazing ballad and this album is full of them.

"Some of the song suggestions came directly from my fans because they would always say to me, we would love to hear you sing this song. So I decided to make a list of all my favourite love songs and then put them together on one album.

"The hard part was narrowing it down to those on the album. There's also a few original tracks on there, some that I've written myself. It's always amazing to get into the studio and see what we can create. I can't wait for my fans to hear the album."

Last year Shane, whose time with Westlife saw the band sell 44 million records, brought his Right Here tour last year to Tunbridge Wells, after fans were able to request which towns he went to.

He will be supported by Guy Sebastian, Australia’s first ever Idol winner back in 2003, who has become a household name in the country after being a judge on the Australian X Factor for four seasons.

Tickets for the Shane Filan Love Always concert at Margate Winter Gardens on Thursday, October 12 cost from £27.50. To book, visit: shanefilan.com or ticketmaster.co.uk
