A mother-of-two from has scooped a selection of prizes after entering a #FindtheChick competition.

Explore Kent began the scheme to encourage people to explore the county. There were 15 chick signs placed in various attractions across Kent.

People who spotted them were encouraged to take a selfie, upload it to Twitter, and include the #FindtheChick hashtag.

'Thank you, I have never really won anything really before'

Claire Kinsley, 35, of Whitfield, near Dover, was with her children and friend Shane Brooks at Canoe Wild near Canterbury on Easter weekend. When they came across the sign, they followed the instructions to enter.

After receiving confirmation of her winnings, Mrs Kinsley said: “Thank you, I have never really won anything really before.”

She won a Go-Pro Hero camera, Kent ATAK passes, which grants free entry to most family Kent attractions, a Canoe Wild experience, a selfie stick and £500 in bike vouchers.
