Maidstone Wind Symphony launches new season with Amazing Grace at All Saints' Church, Maidstone

A concert exploring despair, loss, hope and light through a programme of new and established works will be the first in a new season for Maidstone Wind Symphony.

Amazing Grace, on Saturday, November 19, at 7.30pm at All Saints’ Church in Mill Street, Maidstone, will be one of reflection and remembrance.

Pieces will include Joel Puckett’s Shadow of Sirius, Frank Ticheli’s Amazing Grace, Korn Symphony by Pete Meechan and Stan Nieuwenhuis’ Early Skies. Soloists featured will be Nicky Catterwell on flute and Kevin John Ashman on flugelhorn.

Flautist Nicky Catterwell will be playing with Maidstone Wind Symphony in Maidstone

Gustav Holst’s Venus, the Bringer of Peace and Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from the Planets Suite will complete the concert.
