Omid Djalili is coming to perform a one-off stand-up show in Whitstable this Friday.

This month's Horsebridge Comedy Club was supposed to feature Isy Suttie, best known for playing Dobby in Channel 4’s Peep Show, but she had to cancel - and Djalili has just been revealed as her replacement.

The English-born Iranian stand-up comedian is also an actor and has starred in a number of blockbuster films including Gladiator, The Mummy, Mean Machine, The World Is Not Enough, Notting Hill, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Sex and the City 2.

Djalili will be at the Horsebridge Centre from 8pm on Friday, March 29.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets are £10 on the door or £8 in advance.
