There’s a model weekend in store for railway fans.

The East Kent Model Railway Society will hold its post-Easter open day on Saturday, April 22.

There will be model trains running between 10am and 4pm through the day and the society’s 20ft long OO scale layout with seven running racks including a tramway and London Underground circuit.

Admission is £1.20, 80p for children and a family of two adults and three children is £3.50.

Head to the Old Dairy, Church Street, Whitstable.

The clubhouse is near the Castle Cafe, where there is limited parking for the disabled.
