Vintage Kilo Sale, Canterbury

The UKs biggest vintage sale, Worth The Weight, is back at Canterbury’s Westgate Hall on Sunday, July 25 from 11am. Grab a biodegradable bag and pick & mix your vintage clothing, all for £15 a kilo. Items start at 75p, with larger items such as coasts capped at £15. Entry is £2 with under 12s free. There are weighing stations where staff will be able to tell you what you have spent. Tell Me On a Sunday, Marlowe Theatre

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s classic musical Tell Me On A Sunday is at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, from until Saturday, July 24. The show charts the romantic misadventures of a young English girl Emma in New York in the heady days of the 1980s looking for love in all the wrong places and stars Jodie Prenger.

Seating for the show will be socially-distanced and the show is accompanied live by West End musicians, with tunes including the chart-topping Take That Look Off Your Face and title track Tell Me On A Sunday. Book tickets here.

The Secret Garden Live, Lullingstone Castle

The show by New Creations Collective comes to Lullingstone Castle & The World Garden, Eynsford on Wednesday, July 28 at 2.30pm, and is an hour-long a ballet based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s novel. Tickets at thesecretgarden.live

Saxophonist Alan Barnes will be bringing his trio to the Alexander Centre in Faversham on Friday, July 23, playing jazz favourites from Duke Ellington to Coleman Hawkins. Get one of the last tickets at £15 here.

Arthur’s Dreamboat at the Hever Festival

Based on the book by Polly Dunbar and brought to life by Long Nose Puppets the show on Thursday, July 22 at 2.30pm is part of the family programme for this year's festival. It is the magical story of a little boy who has a dream. To book tickets and find out what else is on click here.

Travel on the Spa Valley Railway this weekend

Terrier Weekend at the Spa Valley Railway

Take a nostalgic steam ride on the Spa Valley Railway on Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25 behind Terrier Locomotives Douglas and Knowle. Knowle was built in 1880 and is visiting thanks to the Kent & East Sussex Railway and The Terrier Trust. Trains will run all day and will depart from Tunbridge Wells West from 9.35am.
