A stunning light show will be returning to Kent with a brand new theme this September.

The show, which is put together by renowned audio-visual company Luxmuralis, will bring art from the Renaissance era to life at Canterbury Cathedral.

The installation is part of the Canterbury Festival and will help launch the multi-arts event on Tuesday, September 26.

The five-day spectacular will highlight the cathedral’s architecture and immerse visitors in paintings and artwork from the Renaissance period using moving light displays and original compositions.

The projections have been created by sculptor Peter Walker, while the soundscapes come from composer David Harper.
