Brooding Mr Darcy gallops back into our lives again with an acclaimed new production of Pride and Prejudice kicking off its UK tour.

This adaptation of the Jane Austen classic has been a sell-out in London and now begins its national tour at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley on Wednesday, September 21.

One of Austen’s best-loved novels, it tells the story of the Bennet family and their five unmarried daughters. A family of humble means, Mr and Mrs Bennet see the chance to improve their social standing when the wealthy Mr Bingley and his eligible friend Mr Darcy move to the neighbourhood.

First published in 1813, Pride and Prejudice has remained one of the most popular novels in English literature and has been adapted for stage and screen.
