Reality TV star Vicky Pattison proved she could be every girl’s best friend during her winning time on I’m a Celebrity. Now she’s sharing her tips on life, love and friendship in a new book and meeting Kent fans.

From being the party queen on Geordie Shore to showing her vulnerable side on I’m a Celebrity – Vicky Pattison has come a long way in her time in the public eye.

Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison is coming to Bluewater

The 28-year-old is now a team captain on the Channel 5 panel show It’s Not Me, It’s You and permanent member on the daytime chat show Loose Women - not bad for a reality TV star who made her name on MTV’s riotous Geordie Shore back in 2011.

What’s more, at the same time Vicky has lost three stone, won I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and written a number of best-selling books.

Her latest offers tips for real women, from a real Newcastle lass.

The Real Me is packed with recipes, fashion and beauty tips, training programmes and straight-talking advice on dealing with everything from job interviews to first dates.

It’s the ultimate guide to living life to the full, the Vicky way.

“I’m finally proud of myself and happy with who I am inside and out, and I want every woman in the world to feel like that too,” said Vicky who will be at Waterstones in Bluewater at 4pm on Wednesday, August 3 to sign copies of the book.

The event is free but fans will need a copy of The Real Me to meet her.

Published by Little, Brown Book Group, it costs £16.99.

Vicky’s top tips

1. Be yourself – I’m a few people’s tequila... not everyone’s cup of tea
2. Never ever watch The Green Mile if you’re already miserable (or hungover)
3. If there’s no banter on a first date, it’s not going to work
4. Cure hangovers with Domino’s yoga – reach for pizza, exhale, chew
5. Cookie Dough ice cream can ease your heartache
