Emergency crews including the air ambulance were called after a child reportedly fell from a tree.

The young boy is believed to have plunged about 20ft to the ground.

The helicopter landed at Duncan Down at about 4.30pm.

It has since left the scene.

The accident is thought to have happened in nearby St Andrews Close.

The extent of the boy's injuries is not yet known.
