Alleged cocaine dealers from Herne Bay and Whitstable charged after police raids

A pair of alleged cocaine dealers have appeared in court after their homes were raided by police.

Gavin Calloway of Fairoaks, Herne Bay, and Charles Hodges, of Kent Street, Whitstable, were arrested on Wednesday after search warrants were carried out.

Investigators seized three mobile phones at Mr Calloway’s house and cash at Mr Hodges's home.

The pair were later charged with conspiracy to import cocaine into the country between March 1 and June 12 last year, conspiracy to supply cocaine and diazepam.

Mr Calloway, 42, and Mr Hodges, 33, were both remanded on Thursday by Folkestone Magistrates’ Court to appear at a hearing before Canterbury Crown Court on February 8.
