Boy hit by car near Community College Whitstable treated by paramedics in Millstrood Road

A boy has been hurt this morning after he was hit by a car just yards from school gates.

The 13-year-old is being treated by paramedics following the accident in Millstrood Road, Whitstable, at the junction of Bellevue Road.

The teenager is thought to have been on his way to the nearby Community College Whitstable when he was hit at 8.20am.

Emergency crews treat boy hit by car near school

Staff were helping direct traffic as pupils arrived at the school.

The boy's injuries are not thought to be serious.
