Man released on bail after petrol reportedly thrown at house in Longacre, Chestfield

A man has been released on bail after petrol was reportedly thrown inside a house in Chestfield.

Police were called to a domestic incident in Longacre and Kent Fire and Rescue Service also attended as a precaution.

Four police cars, two ambulances and two fire cars were seen in Whitstable Rugby Club’s car park while the incident was dealt with.

It happened just before 2pm on Monday.

Police spokesman Jon Green said a man was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail while officers make further enquiries.
