Whitstable: Crash near A299 Old Thanet Way sees three cut from wreckage

Three people were cut from wreckage after a crash last night.

Fire crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to create space for paramedics to treat the casualties.

The two-car smash happened just after 8pm at the junction of Foxgrove Road and the A299 Old Thanet Way.

Police have been called to the scene

Two crews were called to the scene and also stabilised the vehicles and removed on of the car's roofs before assisting with transfer of the casualties to the care of the ambulance service.

The full details of the victims' injuries are not yet known but Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service have been approached for more information.
