New photos of missing firefighter Anthony Knott shared by fiancée

The fiancée of missing firefighter Anthony Knott has said she is "living in a nightmare" as she shares more photos, in the hope her partner is found soon.

The 33-year-old from Orpington has now been missing for more than two weeks.

He was last seen walking up Market Street in Lewes, east Sussex, on Friday, December 20 at 7.41pm - 20 minutes before he switched his phone off.

Fiancée, Lucy Otto, shared CCTV footage on Facebook earlier this week showing Mr Knott outside the Landsdown Arms on the day he disappeared.

And now she has released eight more photos of Mr Knott alongside a heartbreaking plea for any information of his whereabouts.

In the Facebook post, Miss Otto said: "Please look at these pictures.

"I have tried to find some where he would have more facial hair. The last one has kindly been photoshopped to add more.

"I am literally living in a nightmare I wish to god I could wake up from.

"We are so unbelievably grateful for all your support and shares.

"We just want him back.

"If anyone has any information or sightings please contact the police on 101 quoting operation Barnstable. Or in case of an emergency, call 999.

"Or, Anthony, If you are reading this, please come home. We all miss you so much, you don’t know how loved you are."

Mr Knott is 5ft 8ins, of medium build with medium brown short gelled hair.

On the night he disappeared, he was dressed in a black long sleeve top with a dark denim coat and jeans and black smart shoes.

Mr Knott was in Lewes as a few of his work colleagues live in the area and as a compromise to them going into London for the Christmas do the previous year, they decided to hold it in Lewes this year.

Miss Otto dropped him off at the Swan in West Wickham at around 12.30pm and he made his way to Lewes in a taxi with others. The plan was to share a cab back or get a train home.

The group visited the Landsdown Arms, then the Royal Oak, followed by the Lamb of Lewes.

Mr Knott walked out of the Lamb at around 7.15pm, and is spotted on CCTV outside the Elephant and Castle pub at 7.19pm. He is then caught on CCTV at 7.41pm walking past the flea market along Market Street.

Miss Otto said: "In the CCTV footage from outside the Landsdown Arms, he’s just making at a call to his colleague letting them know which pub they are in.

"Apart from a text to me at 4.26pm, his phone isn’t used again to make any calls or texts at all.

"The last sighting is in Market Street street past the flea market at 7.41pm."

Sussex Police confirmed on Tuesday that the search for Mr Knott has been called off while the police investigation continues.

Specialist teams have carried out searches near the pub and the Pells Pool area which was flooded at the time.

Miss Otto has described his disappearance as "completely out of character" and said he would never intentionally do something like this.

Anyone who may have seen Anthony or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Sussex Police online or by phoning 101, quoting serial 727 of 21/12.

If he is ill, injured or thought to be in danger, please dial 999 immediately.
