Man airlifted to hospital after assault in Bexley

A man has been airlifted to hospital after being found unresponsive after an alleged attack.

Police and ambulance services were sent to the scene in Crayford, Bexley, this afternoon.

The air ambulance was called to the incident, which occurred at around 4.18pm in the Cray Gardens.

It is understood that a man in his 40's was found unresponsive at the scene, and has since been airlifted to a London hospital.

Officers have cordoned off the scene and the park remains closed.

Police have been contacted for comment.
