Man, 28, suffers 'serious head injury' in Bexleyheath nightclub attack

A victim of a serious attack near a nightclub is fighting for his life in hospital.

Police and paramedics rushed to the Broadway in Bexleyheath after a 28-year-old man was attacked and left with a serious head injury at the weekend.

Metropolitan Police officers are looking for witnesses to the serious attack outside a Bexleyheath nightclub

The victim remains in a south London hospital and officers are now hoping witnesses to the attack will come forward.

Police and London Ambulance Service paramedics were called to the Broadway just after 1.30am on Sunday.

A 26-year-old-man was arrested close to the scene on suspicion of GBH and is currently in custody at a south London police station.
