Man taken to hospital after car crashes into parked vehicle on driveway in Long Lane, Bexleyheath

A man has been taken to hospital after crashing his car into a vehicle parked on a driveway.

Emergency services were called to a property on Long Lane in Bexleyheath following reports of a collision.

Long Lane has been cordoned off by police following a crash.

The road was cordoned off by police near the junction with St Thomas Moore Church at around 8.45am.

Two fire engines, a rescue unit and an ambulance also attended the scene.

Crews made the scene safe after a car collided with a vehicle parked in a driveway. The incident was declared over at around 9.45am.

The driver has been taken to a south London hospital. His condition is not yet known.

According to the AA traffic feed, the road remains partially blocked between Brampton Road and Cumberland Drive.

Traffic is said to be coping well and a detour is in operation for the 301 and B11 buses.
