Emergency services called after person hit by train at Beckenham Junction

A person has been hit by a train this evening.

The incident occurred at around 5pm between Crystal Palace and Beckenham Junction.

Emergency services were called to Beckenham Junction station and train services were severely disrupted while their duties were carried out at the scene.

Southeastern services between Kent House and Bromley South were among those services impacted.

The line has since been reopened.

We have approached British Transport Police for a comment on the incident.

Earlier today tragedy struck when a person died on the line at Belvedere Station.
