Police stepped in to move a prankster away from the Archbishop of Canterbury after he sang and danced in front of him.

A video released today shows Lee Marshall, known as Discoboy, jumping around and singing to Sorry by Justin Bieber in front of The Most Reverend Justin Welby.

The three minute clip features Discoboy's rendition of the popstar's hit as he strolls around Canterbury city centre.

Apart from his escapades outside the cathedral, he is also captured in various shops and restaurants throughout the city.

He is filmed enjoying a duet with a stranger in the high street, inside a nail bar and shoe shop and even serenading people in a car in the middle of a roundabout.

At one point, he is seen dancing on the counter of McDonald's.

Police escort Discoboy away after he sang and danced in front of the Archbishop.

But within seconds of his performance in front of the Archbishop, police step in and haul him away.

It's not the first time police have had to stop Discoboy in his tracks.

In October, he was slapped with a hefty fine after rolling a speaker into an Asda store in just his underwear and dancing at the checkouts to loud music.
