Burglary suspect charged after laptops and charity boxes taken from pub in East Hill, South Darenth

A man suspected to have taken laptops and charity boxes from a pub has been charged after being located hundreds of miles away.

The victim reported their business in East Hill, South Darenth, had been targeted overnight on September 28.

An investigation was launched which led to the arrest of a man in Holyhead, Wales last Friday.

Officers charged Dragos Stanescu, of no fixed address, with burglary and he appeared before Mold Magistrates’ Court later the same day.

The 27-year-old was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
