Long delays on Dartford Crossing approach after crash and broken down vehicle

There are delays on the M25 anticlockwise following a crash and a broken down vehicle just before the Dartford Crossing.

The road was blocked this morning while traffic officers and emergency services attended an incident involving an overturned vehicle.

The incident was cleared before a vehicle broke down in lane 2 of the A282 northbound which has resulted in two lane closures.

Delays saw tailbacks spanning three miles back towards junction 3 at the Swanley Interchange.

As of 10am the vehicle has now been recovered from the carriageway and traffic is being released.
