The High Street curry house was chosen from hundreds of entrants, where the winners were judged on their innovation, presentation of food, hygiene standards and customer service.

The competing chefs participated in a live cook-off and 11 winners were chosen.

The BCA said the winners represented the excellence taking place in Bangladeshi curry houses across the UK, where they have been recognised for their love and passion, innovation, blending of spice and flavours to create exceptional food.
