A drug dealer has been jailed after he was arrested with more than 90 wraps of cocaine and heroin.

Rahim Saeed was stopped in Dartford in the hire car he was driving after police suspected he was involved in drug supply, and they detained him for a search.

After pulling him over in Waldeck Road, on October 18, officers from Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team seized a burner phone from the vehicle and £220 in cash, and took Saeed back to the police station to complete the search.

Once there, he admitted there were drugs hidden in his clothing and the officers seized 91 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin. They also recovered a large lump of crack cocaine which it is estimated could have been divided into a further 110 wraps.

Saeed, of Dartmouth Road, Sydenham, Greater London, was later charged with supplying crack cocaine with intent to supply and possessing heroin with intent to supply.

Investigating officer PC Michael Williams said: "Another dealer who travelled into Kent with Class A drugs is starting a prison sentence. Our officers are alert for county line suppliers who think they can remain anonymous using mobile phones to bring cocaine and heroin into our towns.

"Our message to other criminals who seek to follow in his footsteps is clear; it’s only a matter of time before you come to our attention after which you will be swiftly brought to justice."
