There were delays on the A2 following a crash involving a motorcyclist.

The London-bound carriageway near Dartford was partially blocked this morning after a car and bike collided.

It happened just after junction two of the M25 for the Darenth Interchange.

Police say they were notified of the crash at around 8.35am.

A witness said that at around 8.45pm an ambulance team was at the scene tending to a motorcyclist.

The South East Coast Ambulance service have been contacted for more information.
