Delays on M25 near Swanley due to broken down tanker

A tanker has broken down on a motorway slip road causing long delays.

Lane one of the exit from the M25 clockwise was temporarily closed near junction 3 for Swanley.

It has caused long delays to vehicles on the main carriageway and congestion back to the Darenth interchange.

Traffic officers arrived at the scene this morning and the tanker has since been recovered.

Drivers are being urged to approach with caution and expect delays in the area.
