Fire crews tackle Dartford Heath grass fire

Fire crews were called to a fire on Dartford Heath.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service deployed three fire engines and an all-terrain-vehicle to tackle the blaze.

The fire covered an area of around 100 square metres and the cause is unknown.

Fire crews attended between 11.54am and 12.32pm today (Friday).

They used flexi packs and beaters to extinguish three separate areas of the fire.
