Police chase in Dartford leads to arrests after BMW stopped following robbery

A police chase involving a BMW after a man was allegedly robbed and a woman targeted has led to four men being arrested.

The group appeared in court charged with nine offences following the incidents in Dartford on Friday afternoon.

Police arrested four men after a man had money stolen and a car chase in Dartford after allegedly failing to stop for officers

Officers were called at about 2pm following reports a man had been robbed of money in Knights Manor Way in the town.

The same suspects are also said to have attempted to rob a woman, who was with the victim, before fleeing the scene in a silver BMW 3-Series.

A car matching the description was spotted in Little Queen Street about 25 minutes later and police requested for it to stop.

Police said it failed to stop and a pursuit was authorised before the car was brought to a controlled stop on the A2 near the Gravesend East junction after 30 minutes.

Three people were remanded in custody after being charged with robbery and attempted robbery.

Four men appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court today

Effiong Nsa, 19, of Gouge Avenue, Gravesend, Sunny Reeve, 22, of Knights Manor Way, Dartford, and Salah Ibrahim, 20, of Virginia Walk, Gravesend appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court today.

Nsa was also charged with possessing a knife in a public place and Ibrahim was also charged with possessing cannabis.

Shamil Ibrahim, 21, of Virginia Walk, Gravesend was charged with one count of dangerous driving.

Investigating officers say they would like to hear from anyone with information on the robbery or the pursuit particularly any dash camera footage which captures any of the circumstances detailed.
