Four men charged following flat robbery in Spital Street, Dartford

A man was attacked with a weapon during an alleged break-in which saw cash and cigarettes taken.

Four men have since been charged in connection with the robbery at a flat in Spital Street, Dartford.

It happened at around midnight last Friday (January 29).

The group is alleged to have broken into the property, where they were reported to have assaulted a man with a weapon before stealing a large quantity of cash along with boxes of cigarettes.

Arkan Saber, 20, of Westminster Road, north London, Mahmood Abubakr, 23, of Oakfield Gardens, north London, Dogan Yarligac, 23, of no fixed address and Farman Fattah, 22, of Church Street, Greater London, were charged with one count each of robbery and one count each of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

All four appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday where they were remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on March 1.
