An American diner will undergo a makeover and become a fried chicken restaurant.

Ed's Easy Diner in Bluewater is due to relaunch as Slim Chickens next month.

Ed's Easy Diner in Bluewater is being revamped.

The American friend chicken company serves up favourties including wings and tenders, as well as mac n' cheese and sandwiches.

The company which owns Ed's, Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG), also ran Giraffe in the Dartford shopping centre, but it closed last year.

BRG signed a franchise agreement in 2018 for Slim Chickens and has since opened six restaurants in London, Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham,
