There are delays of more than an hour on the M25, with queues stretching for 10 miles.

Traffic is backed up on the anticlockwise stretch from Junction 1A at the Dartford Tunnel, to Orpington.

Delays have also been building on the A2 as a result.

Kent Police say they are unaware of any incidents on the stretch of motorway.
