Man arrested on suspicion of assault at Sainsbury's in Dartford

Police attended a shopping centre supermarket yesterday following reports of an assault on a security guard.

Officers were called at 1.45pm to an altercation involving two men at the Sainsbury's supermarket in Instone Road, Dartford.

Police attended the scene and arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of assault.

He remains in custody while police conduct further inquiries.
