Man taken to hospital with head injury after Swanley attack

A man was taken to hospital with a head injury after being attacked in Swanley.

Police and ambulance crews were called to St Mary's Road at 12.20pm yesterday following reports of an assault.

A man received treatment for a head injury at the scene and was taken to Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford for further medical attention.

The man's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Officers are conducting initial inquiries into the incident and anyone with information should call Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting reference 28-0602.
