A man has been stabbed on a housing estate in Dartford.

Officers were called to the Temple Hill area yesterday following reports a man in his 20s was assaulted by another man shortly after 7pm.

The incident took place in Spielman Road and the man was taken to a local hospital with injuries to his arm consistent with stab wounds.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police say enquiries are ongoing to locate and arrest the man suspected of being responsible. He is known to the victim.
