Ever wanted to make a llama cookie, a cat paradise cake, a panda-madeleine or a choux-bun turtle? Well here is how you can.

With The Great British Bake-Off coming back on our screens, one of last years' finalists will be in Kent spreading some cooking joy.

Tomorrow night Noel, Sandy, Paul and Prue will be putting a group of amateur bakers through their paces for the 2019 series.

If watching all that icing, kneading and sprinkling has inspired you to become a creative cook, 2018 finalist Kim-Joy Hewlett will be at Bluewater with her new book to help.

The London born baker was famed on the show for her creativity. She always managed to design delicate, intricate animal scenes on all of her bakes.

Her book, Baking With Kim-Joy, has tips for basic cake mixes, biscuit doughs, fillings, frostings .

As for decorating techniques, she shares 40 designs for iced biscuit creatures including a llama cookie, big occasion cat paradise cake, character macarons and meringues, ornate breads and show-stopping traybakes.

Kim-Joy will be at Waterstones in Bluewater to meet fans at midday on Saturday, September 28.

Bookseller Camilla Chetty said: “We're so excited to have the opportunity to host this signing with Kim-Joy.

"She was a real favourite with the Bake Off fans in the store."

This event is free of charge but fans are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Fans must have a copy of 'Baking With Kim-Joy' in order to meet Kim-Joy.
