Grange Lane in Hartley closed for up to a week after fly-tipping

A road is expected to be closed for up to a week after it was targeted by flytippers.

Grange Lane, between Hartley and New Ash Green, has been shut following the discovery made by highways teams earlier today.

Discarded tyres and furniture were found blocking the narrow lane between Church Road and Hartley Bottom Road.

Kent County Council is advising motorists to find an alternative route.

The road is expected to remain closed for up to a week.
