Firefighters battled a shed blaze in the early hours of this morning after a cooking mishap.

Crews were called to Ashmore Close in Dartford at about 5am.

The fire is thought to have started after the homeowner was cooking inside it.

The shed, along with all of the owners' belongings that were inside, was destroyed by the flames.

Fencing in the garden and a trampoline were also damaged.

Firefighters managed to put it out in under an hour.

There were no reported injuries.
