A home has been left heavily smoke damaged after a blaze yesterday afternoon.

Three fire engines tackled a house fire in Bere Close, Greenhithe at 4.20pm on Wednesday April 28.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and a volunteer response team attended to provide support to the occupants.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
