A man who died after being hit by a lorry has been described as the "happiest, kindest man".

Flowers and tributes have been left at the scene of the accident on the A20 near Farningham as family and friends paid their respects to the man, who was in his 50s.

One tribute read: "God bless you, my Frank. You gone and too part of us with you.

"We hope you up their with my Tony boy and one day we all be together. Mum and dad and all the family."

Another message read: "My brother the happiest kindest man this world will ever know.

"We never see you upset you always had a present for all the children every time we see you.

"You always wanted to give us something. Love you always Abe, Sylvie and kids."

A police cordon was put in place along the road between Brands Hatch and Scratchers Lane following the collision at 4.28am on Thursday last week.

The driver of the lorry, a man in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has since been released pending further inquiries.
