CCTV has been released by a homeowner showing yobs setting fire to a wheelie bin and the footage was released in the hope their parents will have a "serious word" with them.

Police were called to an address in Charles Street, Greenhithe, at 9.30pm on Saturday following reports of an arson attack.

The video footage shows the vandals setting fire to a non recycling bin containing aerosol cans.

The young boy who lit the blaze using a lighter, was described as wearing a navy blue tracksuit with a grey hoodie underneath.

He was accompanied by another boy riding a black/blue mountain bike before they fled the scene heading in the direction of Burger King.
