CCTV of man police want to find after bicycle theft in Mill Hill, Deal

A man was only inside a shop for second when his bicycle was stolen.

The black mountain bike, with bright yellow writing, was stolen from outside a shop doorway in Mill Hill Deal.

A police spokesman said: "The victim told Kent Police he was just inside the shop when the bike was taken.

"He had only been inside the door for a matter of seconds.

"He chased after the suspect but was unable to catch the person responsible."

It happened at around 2pm on Wednesday, July 31.

Detectives investigating the theft have now released a CCTV image of someone they want to speak to.

The spokesman said; "Officers believe that person may have useful information that could assist with their enquiries."

Witnesses to the theft, or those who recognise the person in the photo, should call 01843 222289 quoting the reference number 46/147583/19.

Alternatively they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers in Kent anonymously on 0800 555111.
