It was a case of three Kent towns for the three-times divorced Friends character David Schwimmer who was spotted in Deal yesterday afternoon.

After shooting scenes in Thanet and Canterbury earlier this week, the American actor was captured continuing filming in Mongeham, a village on the outskirts of the town.

The 53-year-old, who soared to worldwide fame playing Ross Geller in the hit sitcom, was pictured by Ian Lawrence at Grange Farms in Northbourne Road.

He remained behind the wheel of a blue campervan which was being towed along the road.

The cameras were thought to be rolling for a TV advert.

Mr Lawrence, who works at the farm, said: "I managed to grab a picture as he came by the farm workshop.

"The production crew had set up camp for the day in our yard, although you can’t see his face close, it was definitely him.

"He is at the wheel but not driving, as it is on a towing rig.

"He arrived about lunchtime and they were all clearing up by 4pm."

During filming in Canterbury High Street, he was seen speaking to a camera while tucking into a dessert, next to an ice cream van.

Onlookers huddled around the shooting location outside Barclays bank in an effort to catch a glimpse of the star, who was wrapped up in a scarf and black coat and protected by a number of security guards.

Crews have been telling fans to not use the flash on their cameras and to make as little noise as possible.

His appearances around Kent come after confirmation a Friends reunion show is definitely on the cards.

Schwimmer is best known for his role as palaeontologist Dr Ross Geller - a hopeless romantic and three-time divorcee.

His other roles include voicing the giraffe Melman in the Madagascar franchise, and for his performance as lawyer Robert Kardashian in the critically acclaimed The People v. O. J. Simpson.
