Police investigate after man assaulted in Queen Street, Deal

A man suffered head injuries after being knocked out during an altercation with a group of men and women in Deal.

The victim, who is in his 60s, was taken to hospital following the attack, which happened in Queen Street at the junction with West Street.

The attack happened in Queen Street, Deal

Police say he was with friends when it happened at around 1am on Saturday.

They are appealing for witnesses and officers say they are reviewing CCTV images and "forensic opportunities".
